Okay, I’m completely leaning into my Peppermint Widow ornament idea that sparked my whole Creepmas theme this year. I loved how they came out and I really wanted to try to come up with an idea to make them EDIBLE, so I made these adorable Spider Bites with Babybel® Cheese! It’s not really a recipe because there is no cooking involved, rather its a craft project making these reusable spider toothpicks from plastics spiders and a little bit of knife work on the wax covered cheese. Super easy and super fun! Enjoy!

Servings: 12 spider bites
Equipment
- 12 Plastic Spiders Amazon affiliate link
- 12 Black toothpicks
Ingredients
- 12 Babybel® Cheese
- 12 spider toothpicks (how to instructions below)
Instructions
- Spider Toothpicks: Cut off the abdomen of 12 plastic spiders. Hold head of spider with pliers and drill a small hole into the head portion of the spider. Cut plastic picks down to 2 inches and hot glue them into spider heads.
- Remove plastic outer wrapping from Babybel cheese. Use a paring knife to score six lines into one side of the wax layer like a pizza. Cut out every other pie wedge of wax from the cheese until you get a peppermint design. Repeat with remaining cheese.
- Stick cheese with spider toothpicks and arrange on a snowflake platter. Peel off remaining waxy layer before eating. 🤍🕷❤
