Killer Valentines

I’m not gonna lie, this recipe is so super simple because, for one, I used boxed cake mix and store bought frosting. And two, the NEW Horror Movie character mold from Shaped Ice Molds makes quick work of some killer cake pops! I used the mold to form the cake into each horror movie character, although I rounded out the cake a bit to give them a bigger bite rather than making it flush with the mold. I froze them for about an hour so they would be easy to remove from the mold.  Then I poured melted white chocolate into the bottom of the molds and pressed the cake characters into the chocolate to coat them. Because the cake pops are not flush with the mold,  after unmolding them, I dipped them in milk chocolate to give them a little more chocolate flavor, since I’m not a big fan of white chocolate, but if you like white chocolate feel free to use it to coat the back sides of each cake pop. I added the details with, more milk chocolate,  food coloring markers, cocoa powder and I added Wilton® candy weapons. Unfortunately, Wilton only sells these during Halloween season so if you see them, buy them to make these Killer Valentines . Happy Val-o-ween! 💗💗💗

Dust with cocoa powder to age Jason and Michael Myers faces. For Ghostface, add a little chocolate to parchment paper and place the cake pop in the chocolate to create the illusion of a robe.
