Preheat oven to 350° and line cupcake pan with cupcake liners and set aside.
Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Whisk in the rest of the ingredients until combined. Fill cupcake liners ⅔ full and bake at 350° for 15-18 minutes. Allow to cool completely before frosting.
Buttercream Frosting
Place butter in a stand mixer with paddle attachment and slowly add sifted powdered sugar beating at medium speed until the sugar is incorporated and fluffy. Add vanilla and whipping cream and mix until incorporated. Transfer ¼ cup white frosting into a piping bag and set aside. Transfer 1 cup of white frosting aside in a medium bowl and add orange gel food coloring until the desired shade of orange is reached. Transfer to a piping bag and set aside.To the remaining frosting in the mixer bowl, add yellow gel food coloring and mix until desired shade of yellow is reached. Transfer to a piping bag and set aside.
Frost cupcakes: Pipe a ring of yellow buttercream frosting onto each cupcake, Then add a small orange ring of frosting and finish with a small dot of white frosting at the top. Enjoy!(It was a pretty cold day l when I shot this video so please excuse my stiff looking frosting in the video 😉)
